Course structure
Day 1: Clay Exploration - Dive into the world of clay through sensory exercises and interactive play, fostering an understanding of its texture and malleability.
Day 2: Basic Hand-Building Techniques - Learn fundamental hand-building techniques such as pinching, coiling, and slab work to create delightful small objects like magnets or luggage tags.
Day 3: Nature-Inspired Creations - Take inspiration from the natural world to sculpt unique and imaginative pieces reflecting elements of nature.
Day 4: Functional Pottery Fun - Craft practical items such as mugs or planters while experimenting with surface decoration techniques. Experience the thrill of working on the pottery wheel, concluding the workshop with hands-on pottery making.
2-3 finished pieces per child will be fired and glazed to be collected after 2-3 weeks.This workshop is designed to ignite creativity, nurture their love for art and nature, and provide an environment for exploration and expression.
